STEM/STEAM night at TFCA

On Thursday evening, March 24, we hosted two events simultaneously: an Admissions Open House for prospective families and a STEM/STEAM night for families. Both were successful!

Our middle school science teacher, Mrs. Short, coordinated several STEM projects that students could attempt with their parents. Several of our middle school students helped man the different projects and did a great job.

Mrs. Cole, our Director of Digital Learning, along with her student STEAM team, led an hour of code and displayed different technology activities for families to participate in and learn more about tech at TFCA.

It was a fun night and we hope next year will be even bigger. Many of our classes focus on STEM concepts and problem solving. This is great way to allow parents to see why STEM is important and also share ways to incorporate STEM thinking and projects at home!
